RABAUL & LAE

DAWAPIA WHARF (AHTAM), RABAULENB PROVINCIAL GOVERNMENT

Dawapia (Ah Tam) wharf was built by Ah Tam in the early 1900s and upgraded by GRA (Gazelle Restoration Authority) in 2000 into a modern coastal wharf including 2 x barge ramps, T-Jetty & ships berth.

Built with modern facilities such as back up generator, offices, bathrooms and toilets; fresh water / electricity access and a 60tw freezer/cold store, the facility is available for coastal and local fishermen’s fish storage. The wharf is also secured with fencing and 24 hours security.

Dawapia (Ah Tam) Wharf serves the majority of the coastal shipping companies currently operating in the New Guinea Islands region.

 

ASIAWE WHARF (VOCOPOINT), LAE

At ASIAWE Wharf, Vocopoint, Lae we have a facility comprising prime water frontage with 3x 70mtr ramp berths and 1x 32mtr transverse berth available. With a large laydown area we are able to offer FCL, Breakbulk and LCL long and short term storage with Dangerous Goods storage certification currently in progress.
